Happy Belated Birthday Bad Moon Rising

My stunning Tri boy, Storm, turned 6 on Apr.29 and shame on me...I never posted his picture. So here it is, better late than never. He weighs 57.8 lbs and is still my goofball. He is obsessed with balls, barks incessantly when we work or play, but manages to steal my heart with that look and his kisses. Happy Birthday sweetheart.......sorry it is so late!

2 years ago today, "Texas" Teddy arrived on an American Airlines flight with a goat. Okay, not quite the way to travel. Anyhow, in the 2 years he has come a long way from the shy and timid little Sheltie to our beloved "Adolph". He walks on and off leash, heels, does some Agility and has made himself part of our family. 2 years and counting!

And here they are,Teddy,Storm and Sunny. Halloween,Thanksgiving ,Christmas and New Year's came and went. Hard to believe. Thankfully the gang are all doing well. It's been a long cold snowy winter but their faces make it all tolerable. Harley's 13th birthday was Jan.24 and my sweetheart would have been 13. I miss him terribly.

My girl had her check up last Monday(15th) and is doing well. She has kept her weight at 43 lbs and is still my bundle of energy. I look at that face and the bond we share amazes me. She is such a good dog, as are they all, but maybe being the only girl, she has that special place in my heart.....Sunny rules the roost with an iron paw!

Friday Aug.22 ...Storm had his annual check-up. He is 57 lbs. That was always Harley's weight, yet Storm looks so much bigger. But then he has a much heavier coat than Harley did. He is doing well, with his feet the only concern. The poor guy is still bothered by some allergy and has been on Benedryl as well as Holistic Blend's Seagreen Powder which is supposed to alleviate the symptoms. I don't think it is working since his feet are a bit raw although for the most part he has been a good boy with that. I can always tell when the itchies start...Storm rubs his nose against us -and anybody else - in his path. He is still ball obsessed but is so darned sweet. He was really good with the kids which was nice to see. I love the big goof:)

Teddy's check up

Teddy went for his annual check up and got his 3 year rabies vaccine yesterday. He weighs 33.1 lbs which is amazing since a year ago April, he was at 28.6 and that was up from 26.8. His physical went well and he is in great shape. I know he will never lose that fear he has but he has come a long way since April 2007. He is home:)

Someone had a birthday today....Teddy is now 9 years old. He has come a long way since that fateful day a year ago April. He weaves, he jumps, he walks with us several times a day. He loves going in the truck. He has become one of us. Happy Birthday Texas Teddy!! We love you!
