Recovery

Well it's over. Sabre is neutered and thank God, he came through it fine. I think my Vet thinks I'm nuts though. I took him in at 8:30 and got a call at 10:15 that all went well and Sabre came through the surgery like "a trooper". When I picked him up, I was surprised to see him as alert as he was. He did snooze on the way home, but he doesn't seem bothered by the surgery. Hopefully this will be the way it is. Right now, he is asleep in front of the fireplace. My little guy...annoying as he can be, he makes my heart smile.

Well tomorrow our little guy gets neutered. The last almost 5 months have been a lesson in patience. I have none. This pup is a hellion. He is sweet one minute and Satan's spawn the next. He has grown to be taller than Teddy, slightly smaller than Sunny, and weighing 37.3 lbs as of last week Friday. He is smart and appears to love working....he sits,downs,stays,waits,shakes a paw,does a "Lassie",heels and retrieves a ball. He also bugs the crap out of the other dogs to the point of getting himself snarled and growled at....and simply walks away to find his next victim. He has come a long way in being allowed to lay in the living room but still has to sleep in the crate at night. I MAY change this after he recovers from his neuter. I am at once pleased and frustrated.....but life would be dull without that little sweet face here. He has joined the others in saving my sanity. Amazing. I love this little guy.

2 and 3/4 Collies..and a Sheltie

Sabre,Sunny,Teddy and Storm...my gang. Time goes by quickly as evident by Sabre's growth. I get frustrated, angry,and overwhelmed at times with 4 dogs, but in reality, they are my saving grace. Without them, I would be lonely and bored. They make me laugh,cry and keep me going. Unconditional love is what they give....I should be able to give more back. They deserve it.

Growing up

Sabre....20 weeks old,26.7 lbs,full of mischief,sweet,smart but oh so bad. He has brought chaos to my life as well as to the other dogs , but in his own way, he has healed my heart.

Here they are..Two and 3/4 Collies: Storm, Sabre,Sunny and Teddy. Sabre was 16.4 lbs today. He weighed 13.6 lbs 10 days ago!!! He is fitting in but is so exhausting!

Welcome to our world!

This is Tee Creek's Born to Be Wild - call name "Sabre" (of course!). Born on April 7,2009, he joined our crew on Father's Day, Sunday, June 21,2009. And don't let that sweet face fool you.....after one day he has become a terror. His name suits him...maybe I should rethink it?

Sunny and Storm seem blase about him and Ted would prefer he leave I am sure. But he has made my heart smile once again. Ah, puppies:)

A sad date

How did the year go by so quickly? Why can I still see that face that I love so much before me? I miss my Harleybop..his sweet expression, silly bark and quirky ways....I love you Harley.

Sunnybunny's 9!

Tee Creek's Brown Eyed Girl, Sunny, turned 9 yesterday. She is my girl; sweet and saucy and oh so smart. She still is a bundle of energy and I hope she stays that way for a long time. I love that little girl!

Happy Belated Birthday Bad Moon Rising

My stunning Tri boy, Storm, turned 6 on Apr.29 and shame on me...I never posted his picture. So here it is, better late than never. He weighs 57.8 lbs and is still my goofball. He is obsessed with balls, barks incessantly when we work or play, but manages to steal my heart with that look and his kisses. Happy Birthday sweetheart.......sorry it is so late!

2 years ago today, "Texas" Teddy arrived on an American Airlines flight with a goat. Okay, not quite the way to travel. Anyhow, in the 2 years he has come a long way from the shy and timid little Sheltie to our beloved "Adolph". He walks on and off leash, heels, does some Agility and has made himself part of our family. 2 years and counting!

And here they are,Teddy,Storm and Sunny. Halloween,Thanksgiving ,Christmas and New Year's came and went. Hard to believe. Thankfully the gang are all doing well. It's been a long cold snowy winter but their faces make it all tolerable. Harley's 13th birthday was Jan.24 and my sweetheart would have been 13. I miss him terribly.
